Doodle Sadak: Draw the Road is a free physics puzzle and car game you play in your browser. Draw a road with your mouse or finger, press Go and watch the little auto rickshaw drive it to the flag. Bridge a gap, get over a wall or shape a hill for the engine-off levels. Every road costs ink, and the less you use, the more stars you earn.
There are 50 handcrafted Draw levels in ten chapters, and every level asks a little more than the one before it. Each chapter brings something new: first roads, walls and gaps, engine off, springs and boosts, spikes and swinging saws, U-turn signs that send the auto back along a floor below, seesaws and cracked bricks that fall away, moving lifts, fans that carry the auto on the wind and portals that throw it somewhere new, then a final chapter of long journeys over several floors. Later levels are wider, so the roads get longer. Twenty Cut levels turn the puzzle around: instead of drawing, you slice the ground into ramps and let loose pieces fall away. A daily road, the same for everyone, sets a gold ink target, and Create mode lets you build your own levels and test-drive them.
Doodle Sadak rewards thinking, not speed: stars come from ink, never from time, and the same road always gives the same run. When the auto falls or flips, your road stays put, so you fix one bend and press Go again. Hints are free and unlimited, nothing is for sale, and it runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers with no download or sign up.
How to play Doodle Sadak
- Pick Draw for road puzzles, Cut for slicing the ground, Create for your own levels, or today's daily road.
- Press and drag to draw a road, starting just behind the auto so it lands on your line when you press Go.
- Watch the ink bar, because every stroke spends ink and the star marks on it show how much each star allows.
- Press Go and your road turns solid, and the auto drives along it until it touches the flag.
- If the auto falls, flips or gets stuck, your road stays, so undo a stroke or add one and press Go again.
- In Cut levels, drag straight cuts across the ground, and any piece that no longer touches the bottom falls away.
- Finish with less ink for up to three stars, and collect stars to unlock five more vehicles.
Controls
Press and drag with the mouse, your finger or a pen to draw a road, then press Go. On a keyboard, Space presses Go and Next, R restarts the run, Z undoes the last stroke, H shows a hint and Esc opens the menu. Steady hand mode lets you tap to place points instead of drawing freehand.
Same road, same run
Doodle Sadak has no luck in it. The physics steps at a fixed rate with no randomness, so the same road always drives exactly the same way. After each try a faint ghost of the last run stays on screen with a pin where the auto stopped, and your road stays too, so you can change one bend and see exactly what it did.
Free hints in three steps
Stuck on a level? Hints are free, unlimited and come in three steps: where to start, the first half of the road, then the whole road, drawn dashed. Every hint road is tested to reach the flag. After three failed runs you can skip a level and come back later. Steady hand mode lets you tap points instead of drawing freehand, and half speed slows the run without changing the result.
Three looks, six vehicles
Play on Kaagaz, a calm cream graph-paper page with a marker road, on Sky Doodle with sunny skies, clouds and hills, or on Notebook Pop with a blue grid and sticky notes. Switch any time from the menu. You start with the auto rickshaw, and stars unlock a jeep, taxi, mini bus, tractor and ice cream van, with eight free paints. Looks and vehicles change the drawing only, never the physics.
Tips for three stars
- Ink is measured by length, so a short straight piece across a gap beats a long winding road.
- Draw only where the auto needs help, such as under its wheels at the start, across gaps and over walls, and let the existing ground do the rest.
- Avoid steep climbs and sharp bumps. The auto slows on slopes and can stall or flip onto its roof.
- In engine-off levels, speed comes only from hills, so start with a drop high enough to carry the auto up the next rise.
- Start a new stroke close to the end of an earlier one and the two join into one smooth road with no seam.
- Use the ghost of your last run: its pin shows exactly where the auto stopped, so change the road there and keep the rest.
Frequently asked questions
Is Doodle Sadak free to play?
Yes. This drawing puzzle is free in your browser with no download and no sign up, and nothing in the game is for sale.
Can I play Doodle Sadak on my phone?
Yes. It works with touch on phones and tablets and with a mouse or keyboard on a computer. The whole level fits on screen without scrolling, and turning a phone sideways gives you a bigger road.
How do I get three stars?
Reach the flag using as little ink as you can. The star marks on the ink bar show the limit for each star, and stars never depend on time.
Why does my car keep falling or flipping?
A run fails when the auto falls off the world, gets stuck, lands on its roof or takes too long. Your road stays, and the pin from the last run shows where it went wrong, so change that part and press Go again.
What if I am stuck on a level?
Press Hint as often as you like: it shows where to start, then the first half of the road, then the whole road. After three failed runs you can also skip the level and come back to it later.
Does the same road always give the same result?
Yes. There is no luck in Doodle Sadak: the physics runs the same way every time, so the same road always gives the same run.
Can I make my own levels?
Yes. Create mode lets you place blocks, springs, boosts, balls, crates, no-draw zones, spikes, saws, lifts, seesaws, fans, portals, U-turn signs and cracked bricks, set the ink and engine, and test-drive your level. Up to 20 of your levels are kept on your device and never uploaded.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your stars, open levels, chosen look and vehicle are saved in this browser on this device, with no account needed.
